Joaquin MillLocated at N36° 16.329; W120° 35.481 at 2200 feet and named on the Santa Rita Peak 7.5' quadrangle. This was a chromite mill for the Mistake Mine built by Southwest Oil around 1953. It is named Joaquin Mill for the man, Joaquin Cano who homesteaded here in the 1905. The homestead site was known as Joaquin's Place. |
