Sampson Mine

N36° 24.362; W120° 43.541 at 3520 feet above Larious Canyon and 1.3 miles east of Sampson Peak. This magnesite mine was owned by the Sampson Magnesite Mining Company who obtained land patients in the area in 1928 and 1929. The Sampson Magnesite Lode Claims existed previous to 1914 and is mentioned in the 1917.
