Sampson Peak

Located about 1.2 miles northwest of Idria Peak. This peak is sometimes confused with Vendo Peak, which is no longer named on the maps. Venado Peak is actually .6 mile southeast of Sampson Peak. This peak was named Sampson Peak by Anderson and Pack in 1915 and applied that name to the USGS maps.
